A typical sight of the 1940/50's - a Tiger Moth in dual military/civil markings undergoing overhaul. EM840, however, never made it to civvy use and was noted derelict at Hesketh Park (Southport) in May 1958. It then moved south and "vanished". It recently re-appeared and is currently (2009) under restoration at RAF Shawbury to static display condition.
