It was nice to get this elevated shot of the Scandinavian Historic Flight's beautiful Invader 'Sugarland Express' at Air Fete '92. Built in 1944 as a dual controlled trainer, after her military service she was converted to a 'Monarch 26' fast executive transport, this involved fitting a new rear wing spar to accomodate a larger cabin. She was acquired by the SHF in 1986 and after a major restoration flown to Norway in 1988. She wears a colour scheme representing an aircraft of the 9th USAAF.
