Built as a Model 500A (c/n 500A-903-12) and converted to a 500B in July 1964. Now has many 'Shrike' Commander mods, plus winglets and operated under contract with the US Forestry Service in Air Attack missions under the Federal Wildland Fire Aviation Program.
