German Air Force F-4F of JG-73 arriving at IAT94 from her home base at Pferdsfeld. Note: She's not from JbG-35 as stated elsewhere on this database, by the time this photograph was taken that unit had merged with the former East German Air Force MIG-29 Test Wing to become JG-73 'Steinhoff'. The Wing's F-4Fs relocated to Laage in 1997 and Pferdsfeld was decommissioned, in September of that year joint operations with the MIG-29 and F-4F commenced. JG-73 was deactivated in March 2000 before reactivating on 30 April 2004 as the Eurofighter training unit. This particular F-4F was retired in 2003 and now resides in a museum in Slovakia.
