Engines,undercarriage legs & rear fuselage of A26 43-22298, which during a ferry flight on 29th Nov 1944 from Warton Lancs to join the 641st. 409th BG in Bretigny France, collided mid-air with A26 Invader 43-22336 over Warton Marsh; It was excavated by Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team, RAF Millom Museum & Channel 4 Television Time Team in July 2005.
