Landing at IAT93 this F-111C carries the markings of 6 Squadron on this side and 1 Squadron on the starboard side. Tragically, less than two months after this photograph was taken, while carrying out a simulated low-level bombing mission on 13 September the aircraft crashed at Guyra New South Wales killing both crew members.
