This rare F7F-3N Tigercat awaits her turn for restoration at the Planes of Fame Museum. She was previously on display at the United States Marine Corps Museum at MCAS Quantico, Virginia, then at the National Museum of Naval Aviation at NAS Pensacola, Florida, then she passed to the Yankee Air Force Museum at Willow Run, Michigan before arriving at Planes of Fame. As far as is known she wears her original USMC markings. The F7F-3N was a two-seat night fighter, 60 of this variant were built.
