The RF-84F Thunderflash was the reconnaissance version of the F-84F Thunderstreak, with the air intake moved to the wingroots, and a new streamlined nose housing the recconnaissance cameras. It was the first jet specifically designed for tactical reconnaissance. This Thunderflash was photographed wearing the markings of the 155th Tactical Reconnaissance Group, Nebraska Air National Guard, based at Lincoln Airport, Nebraska. She was retired to MASDC at Davis-Monthan AFB on the 20 November 1970 and was allocated the Inventory Code FA085.
