The 'G' in the GF-15A designation means that this Eagle was last used as a Ground Instructional Airframe. When this photograph was taken she was parked in the storage area of the musuem and still wore her AMARC Inventory code on the nose. She had only recently been retired to AMARC, arriving there on the 4 June 1992. She has since been painted in the markings the 325th Tactical Fighter Wing, based at Tyndall AFB, Florida. She is displayed at Pima courtesy of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
