Photographed while she was displayed outside at Pima. This B-29 originally flew with the 330th Bomb Group, 20th Air Force from Guam against Imperial Japan during World War II. Postwar, she saw service with the 4713th Radar Evaluation Electronics Countermeasures Flight and carried the Disney name Dopey. After retirement she was displayed at the main gate of Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, Arizona. Over the years, the aircraft's condition deteriorated and the base was going to scrap the aircraft. A suggestion was made to donate it to the newly formed Pima Air Museum behind the base. Happily, she has now been restored by a band of very dedicated volunteers and is located inside Hangar 4. She is displayed at Pima courtesy of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
