Shown wearing the markings of US Navy Training Squadron 29 (VT-29) based at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas as well as her AMARC inventory code 6T012. This T-29B is an ex-USAF machine that was loaned to the Navy for use as a radar and navigation trainer. While in service they were nicknamed 'The Flying Classroom'. Since this photograph was taken she has been restored and now wears the code 3C-21. She is displayed at Pima courtesy of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
