Not the most attractive aircraft ever produced, in my humble opinion at least. This C-82A was first delivered to the USAAF in 1946. She served until 1956 when she was put on the civilian register as N6997C. Acquired by the Pima Air and Space Museum in 1983, she has been restored since this photograph was taken in 1992.
