Named 'The Lone Star Lady' after the home-state of her former base, Carswell AFB, Texas. This B-52 was formerly operated by the 7th Bombardment Wing until being struck off charge on 5 November 1982. Her paint may be fading but she still looks like the cold-war warrior she once was. Not many museums could accomodate a B-52, Pima has three! In addition to this 'D' model they have a NB-52A and a 'G'. She is displayed courtesy of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio
