RCAF C-47s wore camouflage in the 50s...this was recorded in A-B logs at St Mawgan 28Jun1958 wearing the incorrect marks KN979 and appears in a 1964 Gunter Grondstein photo with the pointed Starfighter nose as KN979 , reserialled 12959 it is now preserved in Canada with the pointed nose
