Catalina Aircrafts Canso taxies out at Flying Legends 2005. Built under licence by Canadian Vickers Limited in 1944 at Cartierville, Montréal for the Royal Canadian Air Force as RCAF11005. After the war she was converted to a fire-bomber and operated in southern France from 1963-68. Around 1980, she was acquired by the Province of Saskatchewan fire fighting service at La Ronge and registered as C-FNJF coded "7". She arrived at Duxford on the 30 March 2004 to be operated by Plane Sailing. Now operated by Catalina Aircraft Ltd, she wears the markings of a OA-10A Catalina 44-33915 flown by the 5th Emergency Rescue Squadron, 8th United States Army Air Force based at Halesworth, Suffolk during World War II.
