57-2589 was the second KC-135A converted to KC-135E by Boeing (the first was 59-1514). Both aircraft were at Offutt AFB, NE with the 55th SRW through at least 2004. 2589 was "Casey Zero One," CINCSAC's aircraft for over 30 years before transfer to Edwards AFB, CA. It always retained it's boom and refueling capabilities.
