Visiting St Mawgan as part of Exercise 'Ample Train' from her home base at Volkel. 311 Squadron became the first operational Dutch F-16 Squadron on 1 October 1982. This particular F-16 was later upgraded to F-16AM standard and was one of 18 sold to the Chilean Air Force to replace their Mirage 5's. She is serialed '727' and arrived in Chile on 7 June 2007 and is operated by Grupo Aéreo N° 8.
