Photographed taxying out at Gatwick, this 747 "Classic" was first delivered on 30 March 1971 to Alitalia as I-DEMO. She was returned to Boeing on 10 December 1981 and given the US registration N357AS. She was briefly operated by Cargolux from 17 August 1983 until she was acquired by People Express on 6 June 1984 becoming N604PE. After the demise of that airline she passed to Continental on 1 March 1991. She was scrapped at Las Vegas in 1995.
