The original Sir George Cayley's 'Governable Parachute' Glider was flown in 1853 at Brompton Dale near Scarborough by his hapless Coachman; The Museums Replica was built in 1974 and flown in the Anglia TV programme about the life of Sir George and in the 1986 IMAX film 'On the Wing'
