Close up the F-14 has a lot of presence. This VF-142 (Ghostriders) Tomcat from the USS George Washington was visiting RNAS Yeovilton as part of the 50th Anniversary of D-Day commemorations. She was delivered new to VF-142 in January 1989, she later served with VF-143, VF-103, VF-102, ending her flying days back with VF-103. She was retired to AMARC in January 2005.
