Delivered to the USAF on 18 September 1972, this F-111D was previously operated by the 27th Fighter Wing, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. She arrived at AMARC on 4 September 1992 and was allocated the Inventory Code AAFV0119. The escape module (cockpit section) was sold to a Mr Ken Pringle in 2005 who restored it, so at least part of her escaped being turned into scrap. Note the stored B-52s in the background. Originaly listed for the RAF as XV884 as a TF-111K to replace cancelled TSR2 orders then cancelled itself.
