Displayed in the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Heritage Park, this U-2 is article 383. She was once operated by the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF), ferried directly to Takhli, Thailand in August or September 1965, and based at Takhli until the beginning of December 1965 when she was flown to Taoyuan. From 1961 to 1974, ROCAF U-2s had flown 220 operational missions under the code-name 'Project Razor'. "Penetrating" flights ended in 1968, but operations continued until the U-2s were withdrawn back to the USA.
