Built in 1940 this PV-2 is a long term resident of Falcon Field. She is ex-United States Navy Bu.No. 37211. After her military service she was stored at Litchfield Park, Arizona until 1957 when she was put onto the civilian register as N7273C. Air Specialties bought her in 1966 and converted her for aerial spraying. In 1981 ownership was transferred to Globe Air. Stored at Falcon Field for long periods since 1976 she was bought by well known warbird restorer Kermit A. Weeks of Polk City, Florida on 23 September 2003 and was prepared for a ferry flight, however, a technical problem prevented this and she remained at Mesa.
