Displayed in the grounds of the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida. She was configured for VIP transport complete with a mahogany and teak interior, plush carpet, full kitchen, full master suite (office, bedroom, and bathroom). When the aircraft was in active service with HQ Pacific Fleet at NAS Barber's Point, Hawaii it was not painted on the underside, it was polished aluminium. She was built as a R6D-1 the military version of the DC6A
