This Meteor started life as NF11 WD592 and was delivered new to the A&AEE on 18 April 1951. She later served with 264 Sqn Royal Air Force and was converted to a TT20. She was struck off charge on 20 January 1975 and in June of that year was flown from Biggin Hill to Mojave where she was registered to Al Letcher & Associates as N94749. In 1988 ownership passed to Al Hansen and Ascher Ward. In May 1993, when this picture was taken, she had been donated to the Air Force Flight Test Center Museum at Edwards AFB and was being prepared for static display.
