Seen on the ramp at Mojave still wearing basic America West Airlines colours, this 737 was first operated by Britannia Airways, delivered to them on 7 July 1968 as G-AVRL "Sir Ernest Shackleton". She was later leased out to Aerolineas Argentinas and Yemen Airways before being bought by Presidential Air and reregistered N311XV. She was then operated by America West and was delivered to them on 24 April 1987. This photograph was taken in late 1992 while she was being prepared for scrapping.
