This is the sole prototype, designed by Bernard W. Sznycer, a former engineer with Pitcairn. This three-seat helicopter first flew on 9 July 1947 and gained its Canadian type certificate in February 1951. It has "Grey Duck" and a duck graphic beside the cockpit.
