ex-XR809, used by Rolls-Royce as the flying test bed for the RB211, first flight 6/3/70. Returned to the RAF on 26/9/75 but the airframe was found to be distorted. After use for ground training purposes by the SAS, the aircraft was finally scrapped in 1982.
