Originally delivered to United Airlines in June 1957 as N37585 "Mainliner Tacoma". She flew with United until November 1968 before being sold to Mars Aviation. In the 1980s she served as a firebomber with Sis-Q Flying Services. When this photograph was taken she was "Tanker 45" with Macavia. More recently she was still going strong with Everts Air Cargo in Alaska. Everts operates the largest fleet of DC-6's in the world.
