Formerly EN145 of the RAF. This aircraft was placed into storage at Ramt David AFB on the 11th May 1956 and after time it was placed on display mounted on a pole, initially painted in camouflage and later a pseudo P-51 Mustang scheme with a red nose and blue rear decking. It remained until suffering extensive damage and was then transferred to Cyclone Aviation at Carmel during 1989 for restoration. It went on display again at Hatzreim during 1990. At this point security clearance was granted and Spitfire guru Peter Arnold was able to examine the aircraft in detail and confirm its Identity based on construction numbers and stencils.
