The actual registration of this aircraft was N329K, the registration N711Z being applied only for filming purposes. Lockheed reserved the N711Z registration for years, using it as a "house registration", and it was assigned to 10 different JetStar airframes over the years. The registration was not officially assigned to any particular aircraft in the spring of 1964. This aircraft was retired in Jun 1965.
