The inverted Gondola of K-88 with the 2 associated Engine Pod/Outriggers; K-88 was deployed to Brazil between 1943-45 with the United States Navy ZP-41 Airship Squadron to carry out Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) patrols & escorts, carrying 4 Depth Bombs, also air/sea & jungle search & rescue missions; Ex: Pensacola, Cardington.
