This aircraft was S/N 69-7270, not 69-0270. 0270 was attached to the 23rd TFS and was maintained by the 7023rd AGS which was âBlue Sectionâ and therefore had a blue stripe atop the vertical stabilizer. This aircraft was maintained by 7480th AGS âRed Sectionâ hence the red stripe atop the vertical.
