From a correspondent - I believe this was taken in 1962. G-ALBD was rebuilt as new in De Havilland training school, Broughton. My father teaching apprentices on rebuild and testing her in May 1962. At Barton an American gentleman,offered £2000; Tigers were roughly £400 at that time. She crashed 1981 BUT is due to fly again this year (2019)!
