The pilot of this aircraft for most of its life was Keith Ayton who was company pilot for the Peugeot distributor Marshalls. It was used also, with him flying it, by Safari Air Services and Air Kenya on a charged by hour basis. On Keith's retirement 5Y-ATR was sold to importers of a chewing drug "Mira" who on the first commercial flight, over loaded it, crashed into the Game Park and killed two on board. Keith Ayton was my father.
