This aircraft was supposedly used by Howard Hughes during the period 1954-1972 when it was owned by the Hughes Tool Co. It has been present at Lancaster â Fox Field since 1974 initially with the Antelope Valley Air Museum and latterly with the Milestones of Flight Museum. Allegedly it is under restoration but apart from some minor cosmetic work there is little evidence of progress.
