Impressive bird! This aircraft was owned by Louis P. Farrell at the time of the photograph. It was hangared / based at Pottstown Limerick Airport (KPTW). The aircraft was the best of three (3) aircraft that were assembled by three brothers based at the Flying W Airport (N14) Lumberton, NJ. The aircraft was sold and subsequently destroyed while it was being flown in a snow storm/squall in Ohio October 20, 1974. Carburettor Ice was a contributory factor.
