Delivered to RAF 201 Squadron on March 1st 1959, serving with 201, 120 and finally 203 Sqn as seen here in her final colours. The Shackleton continued in active service until the late 70's. The "sparking plug" shaped object on the top of the fuselage is the Orange Harvest ECM aerial, used to detect radar signals, typically from submarines.
