My transport for the journey home - 10 days via Canton Island, Fiji, Australia (RAAF Amberley and Darwin), Singapore, Ceylon, Pakistan, Sudan, Libya, Malta and finally Lyneham. Taken at the temporary airstrip while the runway at the Main Airfield was under repair. This was where the Valiants used for air-dropping of nuclear weapons were loaded.
