After 10 yrs. as G-APIY, being one of few Prentices (252 in all) converted at Southend from RAF stocks acquired by Aviation Traders in 1957,this was the first aircraft flown to Winthorpe Fairground, in July 1967 (before creation of the Newark Air Museum), now exhibited as VR249 'FA-EL'.
