Built originally as EI-AAZ, The Swoop for Col. James Fitzmaurice and Jock Bonar's entry in the 1934 Mildenhall race, but disqualified from entering the race. Rebuilt after a crash and purchased and flown N.Y- Croydon in 14 hours in October 1936 by Jim Mollison....my father a junior clerk with LEP Air Freight saw him arrive. Mollison called it 'The Dorothy' which displeased Amy Johnson apparently
