Spent many years on Gate Guard duty at Little Rissington, Cranwell and Leeming. Later sold to Doug Arnold / Warbirds of Great Britain and registered as G-SXVI. Made its first post restoration flight in December 1987. Sold to the USA in 1990 and took up the registration N3356EV owned by Evergreen Heritage collection. Damaged in a a landing accident when its undercarriage collapsed April 26th 1996 and repaired. Maintained in airworthy condition but not flown.
