Wasn't this used by BAC to shuttle from Filton to Fairford supporting Concorde testing?...Don't recall it at Heathrow much...rolling on 28L with the Ariel hotel visible...shot from the Air India earth mound, a great perch till you got bunged off by 'Old Bill' Absolutely correct about the Filton/Fairford shuttle. I had the pleasure of cruising to and fro most days one summer when I was a BAC undergraduate apprentice working with flight test department at Fairford! Lovely to see her in her old "colours"! I too was an undergrad apprentice at Filton who commuted to Fairford most of one summer on G-AMPO! Had a terrible scare one afternoon sitting in back row of seats. as we levelled-off after take-off a small paperbag full of metal shackles tipped over on a shelf on the rear bulkhead. The noise as they hit the bare metal floor sounded liek the tail coming off!
