This aircraft is painted white as it flew in Laos 1970-73 and white denoted 'neutral'. It was chartered by the UK Foreign Office from the AAC with an AAC pilot but local mechanics, based in Vientiane and it allowed the UK ambassador to travel within Laos and down to Bangkok. Why? because Laos was supposedly 'neutral' during the Vietnam war and the UK was one of the 3 signatories to this international treaty. The UK ambassador could therefore check whether the treaty was being observed/broken. There was another AAC Beaver there in 1969.
