Taxying out for its display in happier times; C-GCWG was unfortunately destroyed in a hangar fire at Hamilton, Ontario, 15/02/1993. Canadian Warplane Heritage acquired Avenger c/n 3920 in October 2009 to replace this aircraft. The new aircraft has been registered C-GCWG, the same as the Avenger lost in the hangar fire of 1993.
