Although given a race number of 39, the aircraft flew the course for fun, being unable to compete because it was a military design. It was normally used by Canadair with a military serial of 26015. The aircraft is technically a CL-41 Tebuan, the export version of the Tutor. You can tell this from the under ring hard points used for the external tanks. Tutors did not have them.
