En route to Biafra - Mike Draper can probably provide more details! We had originally planned to route into Guernsey but were diverted into Jersey due to bad wx. Local Press had expected Sir Billy Butlin who was flying in ahead of us but who abandoned approach. As a substitute, we therefore made front-page news. Wined and dined by wealthy Jersey gentry, we stayed for several days until wx improved. Met Tony who painted a cat's head on the nose of 'WMG and put me up at his house first night. (A BEA dolly put me up for second night!) Eventually departed for Bilbao. Great times, Mike.
