This aircraft is a Mu13E (later superseded by the mentioned Bergfalke II. The difference is apparent if one looks at the area where the wings are attached to the fuselage. The Bergfalke II has the spars joined in the middle of the fuselage and the Mu13 uses a steel tube "bridge" in the fuselage. Howard Curtis has provided the answer to the query re type of Glider. Allen Stacey has provided a further update "The glider in the photo is a Scheibe Bergfalke 2 seater and not a K6 which is a single seater". Latest Update: 10.05.09 now buried under various other glider bits at the back of the hangar, looking very tatty.
