Taxying in after a 26 landing at 11.50am. Additional info by RHB of Henlow. Powered by a Lycoming O-235, this aircraft is often mistaken for a Club or Sprint 160 (Lycoming O-360). G-SAHI was the prototype and there is only one! G-SAHI was built by SA Holloway of Trago Mills Ltd. It was an attempt at an all-round training and aerobatic aircraft. Despite the outsanding attributes of this machine, the venture failed. It was purchased by FLS and later sold on to Aces High. It was used as a film prop ("The Escapist"). During the making of this film, the tailplane and aft fusalage were badly damaged in ground acident with a vehicle. G-SAHI was abandoned for about ten years but was rescued, repaired and restored to flying status by the current owner in 2006.
