XH714 crashed in the New Forest on 26/2/58 - pilots ejection seat moved upward on rail during turn, both crew killed. The aircraft was completely destroyed, with both engine buried below 4 metres in ground. Only avionics equipment recovered was one plug and socket identified as from IFF. Engine generators were twisted like corkscrews.
